Eberhardt School of Business is always looking to expand and improve initiatives dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Undergraduate students are encouraged to participate in attending and organizing events in order to create more of an inclusive environment at the Eberhardt School.
The ESB DEI Council is a student-led group that is dedicated to celebrating cultures and providing transformative experiences and educational opportunities. They have hosted a number of events in hopes of advancing the status of diversity, equity, and inclusion at ESB. The council has a five-officer structure in place to ensure the success of events and marketing.
In October of 2022, Eberhardt’s DEI council was invited to receive an award from the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce for their DEI initiatives targeted towards the Stockton community and Pacific. Council president at the time, Amira Kurnfuli created a video with the help of Pacific alumni Rhea Geagea. This video highlighted the council’s initiatives and past events and was shown at the event.
