A great introductory program to help your employees have an overall understanding of project management the Transit industry.
ONLINE TRAINING: You must complete 2.5 hours of self-paced prep work and attend the 3-hour online live session in order to get your credit for the course.
In this course, participants will be provided with a detailed overview of the Project Management function. The course will cover Project Planning, Project Initiation, Project Administration, and Project Closeout. An emphasis will be placed on the management of project costs, schedules, and quality. Examples of zero emissions, building, and infrastructure projects will be discussed.
Project Managers, Procurement Personnel, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety Personnel, Chief Operations Officers, Executive Staff, and Board Members.
On completion of the course, attendees should have knowledge of how to manage various transportation projects.
Rudy Le Flore started his project management career with the Department of Defense as a Contract Quality Assurance Specialist. Mr. Le Flore was responsible for ensuring that systems purchased by the Department of Defense complied with contract requirements. At Northop Grumman, Boeing, and McDonnell Douglass, Mr. Le Flore was responsible for establishing and ensuring the proper acquisition of sophisticated communications and navigation systems utilized by the US Air Force. In Transit, Mr. Le Flore has been delivering transit construction and rolling stock projects including both hydrogen and battery electric projects for the past 17 years.
